By using the app you accept these terms. If you do not agree, do not use it.
You must be 16 or older to use the app.
All astrological content (horoscopes, compatibility, "best/worst match", readings and cards) is provided for entertainment purposes. It is not, and does not replace, medical, psychological, legal or financial advice, nor a reliable prediction of the future. Do not make important decisions based solely on the app. The astronomical calculation is real; its interpretation is entertainment.
Use the app for yourself and for people around you in a playful spirit. Do not use it to harass, humiliate, discriminate against, or make decisions that harm others. Any third-party birth details you enter are your responsibility: enter only what is necessary.
The app lets you connect with other people, so some content is written by users: your display name, the label you give each connection, and invitation messages. Objectionable content and abusive behavior are not tolerated: insults, harassment, threats, hate or discrimination, sexual or violent content, impersonating someone else, spam, and posting anyone's personal details without their permission. You also may not use the app to pester someone who has blocked you. This is a condition of using the app, not a suggestion.
Every connection has a Report and block option. When you use it, that person is blocked straight away — they can no longer connect with you — and the report reaches us with the reason you picked. We review every report within 24 hours and act on it. You can also write to us at privacy@northnode.app. We keep the report for up to 12 months as a record of the complaint; the Privacy Policy explains this in full.
If you break these terms, and the zero-tolerance section in particular, we may withdraw your access to the social features, close your account and stop you from opening it again. If the breach is serious, we may do so without prior notice. You will lose your active connections. Subscriptions and refunds are handled by the store you downloaded the app from — Apple App Store or Google Play — under its own terms.
Paid features are handled by the store you downloaded the app from, subject to that store's terms. We never charge you directly and never receive your card details.
The app, its design, its calculation engine and its written content are owned by Bastian Alejandro Cuesta Hidalgo. Do not copy, redistribute or reverse-engineer except as permitted by law.
The app uses city data from GeoNames under the CC BY 4.0 license (geonames.org). The astronomical calculation is our own, based on public-domain algorithms.
The app is provided "as is". To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for decisions made based on the entertainment content, nor for indirect damages.
We may update these terms. If a change is significant, we will notify you in the app.
These terms are governed by Spanish and European Union law, without prejudice to your consumer rights.
How we handle your data is governed by the Privacy Policy (northnode.app/privacy). In short: your chart lives on your device, anything you share with your connections is end-to-end encrypted, there is no account tied to your real identity, and we don't use advertising trackers.
